Why did I choose a magnetic heart to paint? Well that is because the metaphor of magnetism can remind people to draw in what nurtures their inner calm and let go of what disrupts it.

And a heart attracts peace, compassion, and mindfulness. In Zen practice, aligning the heart and mind is essential.
